Carebearers Ministry

Care Bearers, How W.A.C.O. (we always care for others)
Jesus said, "When two or three are gathered in my name there I will be also" Levy United Methodist Church has about 36 Home bound or limited activity members and we want to let them know we care about them.
"Care Bearers" is a new ministry of caring for our limited activity people, in a systemic way, so that every one may be gathered in the name and presence of Jesus Christ. The goal of this ministry will be to have every limited activity person be a part of a visit in the name of Jesus Christ at least once a month.
Some of us have already started meeting with a few people on Monday for the "Care Bearers" ministry and we have a short list of others that will be willing to be part of this ministry. But we need many more. I encourage those that give flowers, cards, tapes and prayer shawls to keep doing so. Part of this ministry will be to help acknowledge and coordinate those efforts. However, the main goal will be to have every limited activity person be a part of a regular visit in the name of Jesus Christ.
If you wish to participate give me your name, address, phone, and email.
When the names are gathered we will have a gathering of all those interested in "Care Bearers" (how W.A.C.O.) for prayer, training and organization. We pray that god will raise up many caregivers for this simple but important ministry.
Be in Payer for this new ministry.
